No Tomorrow - Orson
This blog needs an update, but really, I just wanted an excuse to share this band with you. I discovered them through the wonders of LastFM a couple days ago, and they’re absolutely amaaaaazing. I’ve obtained both albums: Bright Idea & Culture Vultures. Lovelovelove.
If you’re into indie/indie-rock, these guys are definitely worth a listen.
Mr. Nobody - Nemo Nobody leads an ordinary existence at his wife’s side, Elise, and their 3 children until the day when reality skids and he wakes up as an old man in the year 2092. At 120, Mr. Nobody is both the oldest man in the world and the last mortal of a new mankind where nobody dies anymore. But that doesn’t seem to interest or bother him very much. The only questions that preoccupy him in the present is whether he lived the right life for himself, loved the woman whom he was supposed to love, and had the children whom he was meant to have… now his purpose is to find the right answer.
An upcoming film starring Jared Leto. I haven’t really seen any of his other movies, but this one looks kind of interesting, if only a tad corny. It’s the elderly man’s voice that throws me off. Thoughts?

I was assigned a new story for the newspaper I’m interning at. It’s a feature article about this Transformers convention that’s going on in Pasadena sometime next week. Which is cool and all, but I have no idea how to make it sound exciting. I’m gonna have to contact the PR dude from Hasbro for an interview, kind of nervous!
Buuut, here’s the awesome part! My editor said if any celebs happen to show up, even if it’s the director, I’d get to interview them! Imagine if Shia LaBeouf is there?! :O

Colourful Life- Cajun Dance Party
Alternative/Rock/Pop band from London, UK. They’re relatively new, been around since 2005. They released their debut album back in ‘08 entitled, The Colourful Life. I like them, they’re pretty catchy. Check them out: Cajun Dance Party.

Yeah, everything is alright.
So, I realize I haven’t updated in nearly a month. It even took me 3 whole minutes to log in, only to realize I was using the wrong email (we both use Dilan’s email). Silly Marry!
Anyway, uhm.. I really don’t know what I’m going to talk about. I don’t have anything interesting/controversial in mind. Hmm. Do you think swine flu is overrated? ARE WE ALL GOING TO DIE?! California isn’t too far from Mexico… D:
Oh yeah, I’m officially interning for the Pasadena Weekly (local newspaper for the city of Pasadena, for those of you that don’t know). I guess you could consider it a job, seeing as I’m getting paid $30-$60ish each article. Which is awesome sauce, because I get the experience I need plus extra pocket cash. Yay! :D
I swear, lately I’ve been getting so many subliminal messages. It’s insane. Like today, I was in the lab typing up an assignment, I look up at the guy’s monitor in front of me and see this-
